Shalyn & Kurtis

Growing up in rural Manitoba gives you an appreciation for simple beauties; seas of long flowing grass and a living canvas of hand-painted skies. I never tire of our prairie wonder. It felt so fitting to have our first wedding of 2018 in the place we call home.

Shalyn & Kurtis are our highschool sweethearts. Over the last 4 years, they’ve shared a lot of life together and have grown a deep friendship. They are secure and at ease in their love for one another.

One thing that stood out to us was how intentional they were in including their grandparents. Kurtis’ Grandpa Wiebe was asked to share at the ceremony. As some weren’t able to attend the wedding, Shay & Kurtis were sure to make time in their schedule to stop in and see them. This small act showed how much they honour and love their family. It makes me excited to see them become their own family unit!
