Corey & Elena
Wedding days can be nerve wracking - it’s not every day you make a life long commitment while on display for people dressed in not your everyday attire. Not to mention having photographers and videographers capturing every moment, no matter how small or sacred. It’s totally normal to feel overwhelmed. When I met with Elena, she warned me that as they are a bit more reserved, they might feel awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera. However, what happened as the cameras turned on and Corey and Elena turned towards each other was beautiful. If they had any nerves before, they melted as they focused on each other. It was beautiful to capture.
What I noticed most about these two was the love and respect they have for those around them. They have surrounded themselves with stand up friends that had nothing but the best to say about the bride and groom. I’m very thankful to have been a part of the day, and it was an honour to capture such a genuine love.
